*One Line Summary
how to get a cluster running in any cloud?
Abstract
This discussion explores the option to abuse some common VPN mechanisms to establish private networks between cluster nodes, and allow virtually any cluster stack to work in several different adverse scenarios like:
- Inability to switch multicast (for corosync operations)
- nodes are on different IP subnets
- cluster requires network redundancy but common solutions such as bonding and redundant rings are not an option
