ARM platform and cross-distribution standardization

Abstract

Various Linux distributions have been working together for the past few months toward standardizing certain aspects of ARM systems (especially as these become larger and more general purpose over time). The purpose of this gathering is to discuss ARM platform standardization, boot standardization, cross-distribution compatibility, and to continue the activities from other recent gatherings within Linaro and elsewhere.

    Biography

    Jon Masters is a principal kernel engineer at Red Hat, where he is helping to lead up various efforts on the Fedora ARM project, and also working on other projects. At the LPC, Jon will co-ordinate an ARM mini-summit for those focused on ARM platform standardization.
