Biography

Jesse Brandeburg
Sr. Linux Software Engineer, LAN Access Division (LAD)

Jesse Brandeburg is a senior Linux developer in the Intel LAN Access Division, producing the Intel Wired Ethernet product lines. Jesse has been with Intel since 1994, and has worked on the Linux e100, e1000, e1000e, igb, ixgb, ixgbe drivers since 2002. Prior to 2002 Jesse worked on development and debugging of Microsoft operating system networking (NDIS) base drivers and intermediate (layered) drivers.

Jesse’s current focus is on finding the balance between performance tuning, path finding, and bug fixing, as well as helping lead LAD’s Linux efforts.

Jesse earned a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Portland, in Portland, Oregon. He is an Oregon native, and raised in Hillsboro. He is married and has a beautiful daughter. In his spare time (what remains after family time) he likes to work on his house, improve or drive his track car (a 1986 Mazda RX-7), watch auto racing (anything not Nascar), play computer games, take pictures, and play tennis.
