One Line Summary
The new cgroupv2 API: getting more consistent and more well organized.
Abstract
Rami will discuss in this talk the cgroups v2 subsystem, which was recently integrated into the Linux kernel (from kernel 4.5); he will talk about what was the motivation for developing it, what was implemented till now and what is yet to be developed, how does it differ from cgroup V1, adoption of cgroup v2 in applications (like systemd) and in distros, problems that cgroup v2 faces, and more. Rami will also demonstrate the usage of cgroup V2.
