Abstract

There is a perception that there is little or no ongoing Linux kernel testing. At the same time, little is known about the existing test systems and their coverage.

In this talk I will provide an overview of the various systems used to test the Linux kernel, as well as the level of test coverage they provide. I will also share some ideas how test coverage could be improved.
