Abstract

Google make extensive use of TPMs throughout ChromeOS. This session will give a brief overview of the functionality and components in use, and offer an opportunity to discuss whether any of these components make sense in non-ChromeOS environments.

    Biography

    Andrey is a software engineer on the Chrome OS team at Google, focusing on Trusted Platform Module support in Chrome OS.

    Prior to Google, Andrey worked in various roles, from software engineer and project manager to director of engineering and CEO in technology companies. The list of projects he participated in includes development of a real-time operating system, medical device software, enterprise data protection framework, wireless data transfer modules, telecom management solutions, and many more.

    Andrey has a PhD in physics and mathematics from Moscow State University.
